Fíorscéalta Training Programme
What is Fíorscéalta?
Fíorscéalta is a training course designed to enhance and expand the skills of youth leaders, theatre artists, and drama educators working with young people in the cultural field. This program aims to share methods and techniques for creating performance materials with young participants.
The word “Fíorscéalta” comes from Irish (Gaeilge) and means “True Stories.” This project seeks to help young people transform their real-life experiences into fiction, enabling them to better understand themselves and the world around them.
The project brings together youth leaders working in the cultural field from Greece, Ireland, Kosovo, Italy, Poland, Belgium, Turkey, and Spain for six days (plus two travel days) in Ireland. Each organization is responsible for bringing six adult participants aged 18 and over, with no upper age limit. The project is funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ program.

Crooked House was funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union to run the project. The funding was administered by Léargas, the Irish national agency for Erasmus+
