Theatre SALT is a professional art collective founded in İzmir in 2011 with the aim of presenting performing arts.

In our uniquely designed studio stage, SAHNE SALT, which we opened in 2012, we aim to reach the audience through a contemporary theatrical approach and a realistic style that we have adopted.

The foundation of our formation and projects lies in the belief that every emotion is real, every reality has been lived, and all lived experiences are reflections of other lives, fears, and dreams.

Our group, consisting of experienced professionals in the field of theatre, presents its projects on stage using contemporary staging techniques that are widely practiced around the world.

As of April 2025, Stage SALT, which moved to its new venue, has been meeting art enthusiasts since 2012 as İzmir’s first alternative stage.

With a seating capacity of 40, our stage contributes to the city’s cultural life by hosting various theatre plays, performances, workshops, and events — primarily by Theatre SALT.

Providing space for creative and original performances, our venue continues to offer both audiences and artists an alternative stage experience as a boutique art center.
